The past 2nd of May the PCPE has received a communication, by e-mail, from the International Department of the KKE, taking over the authority of the Secretariat of the ICE, that communicates to our International Secretariat that to the activity of the next days 6th and 7th of May two PCPE delegations will be attending.
As a first position, just to make things clear, remark that under no circumstances the PCPE accepts such a manipulation, which is an unacceptable attack over the sovereignty of our Party and an interference in our internal issues. The PCPE rejects this blackmail and manipulative action.
The KKE has no right to decide issues relating to an ICE member who, in addition to this case, is a member of the Secretariat. It would be appropriate, in relationships of camaraderie and respect, to present any political debate that the comrades of the KKE have an interest to put over the table. But there is no space for impositions, and even less for the manipulation in correlation to a fraction, on which we have punctually informed to the brother Parties. It seems that the KKE, without even making a minimum consult to our CC, did not require a week to give a letter of legitimacy to the members of the fraction.
The KKE shouldn’t repeat the previous mistakes of the MCI that if in that time had the authority of a great Party in the power, the CPSU, today it doesn’t have a similar situation with authority and legitimacy to play the role of leader of the international revolutionary movement that it was in the past.
It is the ICE Secretariat and ultimately it’s Plenary who should discuss and, in his case, make decisions that affect to the member Parties. The revolutionary tradition has always had in the clear debate, the respect for the sovereignty of each Party, and the exchange of ideas the most successful way to solve the issues that the political fight has faced us. In this case none of this has been taken into account by the KKE and has chosen to promote and legitimize a servile fraction for their interests.
The history of the communist movement has a diversity of mistakes, in which the intervention on other parties, creating loyalties and submissions that have nothing to do with ideological firmness, was a serious damage to the international class struggle. Today those mistakes shouldn’t be repeated, the revolutionary essence forces us to learn from concrete facts, from successes, and also from mistakes. Organizing fractions of convenience never lead to anything good at MCI.
Working for the advance of a firm Leninist pole has nothing to do with intransigence and imposition, contrary is a conscious and sovereign commitment of each party . Neither the KKE nor anyone in the MCI can claim the role of share out quality stamps and legitimacy in reference to the ideological firmness and the consequent political revolutionary practice of each Party. It will be the debate between comrades, in the forums that are becoming concrete, and the practice as verification of truth, the way to define and improve the theoretical and practical body of what the revolutionary movement has to do today to get the recognition of the Working class and advance towards the way of the revolution
The PCPE has shown since its trajectory, from its birth in 1984, its firm determination to build the Marxist-Leninist Party in our country. Corresponds to the working class to evaluate the work done. No one can come to break decades of work and development over the base of adventurous positions that have nothing to do with the militant commitment and political practice in the class struggle. Much less those who in absolute minority within the CC intend to encroach the legitimacy of the maximum organ between Congresses through an inside coup gestated for months.
The PCPE demands canceling any presence that does not conform to existing agreements in the bosom of the I-CWPE, underwritten by the PCPE right from the moment we laid the foundations of this instance.
The PCPE will be at the Berlin meeting, and will not accept as legitimate any other presence on behalf of our party.
Today, the tasks we face as revolutionary organizations are huge, at a time of extreme intensification of the international class struggle. Against these demands, it is not possible to act irresponsibly, damaging and deteriorating the positions of the revolutionary organizations that struggle against the ruling classes. There is nothing worse for the working class than damage their best tool: the Communist Party.
The PCPE expects prevail the reason, and solve immediately this unacceptable situation. This situation has been confirmed today with the public recognition of KKE to the fraction that tries to usurp the legitimacy of the CC of PCPE, its acronyms and political and economic patrimony. And serving, in any case, as an apprenticeship about how it must not be the intervention in relations between Communist parties.
The PCPE will continue working firmly for the advance of the international Leninist pole. It will do it, always, from loyalty and firmness of its revolutionary ethics.
